Manchester City‘s Yaya Toure has hinted at a possible move away from the Etihad this summer by admitted that he would love to play for Paris Saint-Germain.

The Ivorian is reportedly upset with the way the club ignored his birthday earlier this month and believes he is not respected enough by City’s hierarchy.

And now the 31-year-old appears to have stoked the fire by claiming it would be an “honour” to play for the French champions.

He told ITV: “Given the goals of Paris, how could you not be interested in a club like that?

“PSG have become one of the strongest teams in Europe. It would be a honour to one day play for a club like that. If I can be of service.”

And Toure also admitted that he will wait until after the World Cup is over before making a decision on his future, hinting that a move may well be on the cards.

“Nobody knows what can happen tomorrow, my attention is on the World Cup and we will see afterwards,” he said.

“My agent, Dimitry, is hanging on the telephone and he knows what he has to do, I have complete confidence in him.

“Yes, I have said I would like to finish my career at Barcelona. You never know because football moves quickly, you never know.”
