Manchester City have made Borussia Dortmund midfielder Marco Reus and Sevilla’s Jesus Navas their top transfer targets for the summer according to the Daily Star.

Roberto Mancini’s future is still in doubt at the Etihad after a poor season for the current Premier League champions but it appears director of football Txiki Bigiristain will take control of the transfers until a decision on the manager is made.

Dortmund will be desperate to keep Reus, whose pace is a real asset to the side as they look to battle with Bayern Munich – soon to be managed by Pep Guardiola – at the top of the Bundesliga.

Navas has been thought of as one of the best wingers in Europe for a good few years now but clubs have been out-priced by Sevilla who need to keep their best players.

A £35million buy-out clause in the Spaniards contract has attracted City however and that, along with £30million for Reus, could see City spending big once again in the close season.
