Despite Roberto Mancini’s recent comments, Mario Balotelli is still set to leave Manchester City in January according to the Daily Mail.

Mancini and Balotelli were involved in a training ground bust up this week and many thought that would be the final straw in the pair’s relationship.

However, the Manchester City boss then told the media that the altercation was nothing worth talking about and that Balotelli is not in trouble with the club.

The Mail feel that these comments are purely to put a brave face on the situation and that if the right money was offered then Mario would be off.

The 22-year-old has hardly been a key player on the pitch for City this season and is clearly their fourth choice striker, leaving him frustrated even when he does get his chance.

A move back to Serie A could be on the cards with all the major sides interested in his talents.
