Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus is keeping quiet on a potential new deal with his current club amidst public interest from Manchester United to sign the star this summer, Express reports.

The 24-year-old attacker has been in great form this season, netting 23 goals and providing 22 assists in all competitions.

Manchester United will need to keep in mind that Reus has a £28m buyout clause in his current Dortmund contract, but it is known that the Red Devils will have quite a bit of funds available for them to splash on during the summer transfer window.

If the German international does make a move to United, he will join former team-mate Shinji Kagawa, however it is also believed that his club are prepared to offer him a new deal in order for him to remain at Dortmund.

Reus has played down any rumours of a potential new deal, admitting to being happy where he is.

“I’m not saying anything about my contract,” Reus said.

“But I do have the time to emphasise how good I feel at Dortmund.”
