David Moyes has been given £150million to spend on new players this month, and in the summer at Manchester United.

In a Mirror exclusive, chief executive Ed Woodward has informed the Scot he will have plenty of money at his disposal, in order to get United back to the top of the Premier League.

And Moyes has made PSG striker Edinson Cavani his number 1 target, as he eyes a summer swoop for the Uruguayan. Cavani only joined PSG in the summer, for £55million, and whilst he is apparently happy in Paris, he isn’t impressed with the standard in Ligue 1.

The PSG wants to become a Premier League star, like his international teammate Luis Suarez, which has alerted United. The forward was wanted by Chelsea and Manchester City last summer, and Moyes is hoping to steal the forward just 12 months after his rivals missed out. The forward could also replace Wayne Rooney, should the Englishman leave Old Trafford. The former Everton striker only has one season left on his current contract.

Other targets for United include Schalke’s wonderkid Julian Draxler, who has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal. Arsene Wenger had to deny reports that the German was spotted at the club’s training ground earlier this week. Fellow Bundesliga stars Ilkay Gundogan and Marco Reus are also on Moyes’ shortlist.
