i pretty much agree with all of this….i think we have to be honest and say this isnt one of fergies greatest teams…however it could be his greatest achievment…i also concur that united have benefitted from the demise of other clubs rather than their outstanding ability…abramovich has done as much for united as any of our players…chelsea looked invincable under ancelotti and then he sacked wilkins and the wheels came off..and i think it was rafas negativity that cost liverpool the league in 2009 when united were largely awful…wigan away 80 minutes 1-1 and rafa takes gerrard off….plus rafa at chelsea this season means a talented team has no chance of competing…..wengers grumpy old man stubborness means they are no longer a thrteat….and man city are new money no class…..like an 18 chav winning the lottery and buying an house in mayfair and wearing burberry to fancy restaurants…the wheels were always going to come of that nasty classless club……and what fergies done is pounce on all that ive mentioned……..and we have to get perspective…are united as bad as everyone says?? no of course not….this is a good team…a very good team….just not a great team…however comparisons yesterday made by some that this team could be as good as the treble winning side are equally incredulous and off the mark…we currently have two world class players who are in their prime RVP and Rooney…..vidic scholes giggs rio all were but are too old now to be considered world class…and what i mean by that is who are our players barca or madrid would come in for……compare that with the 99 side where we had probably 7 world class players in their prime…
