After over 25 years of unprecedented domestic success, Manchester United fans are finally learning what it feels like to be an average mid-table team in the Premier League.

But after their humiliating 3-0 home defeat to rivals Liverpool on Sunday afternoon, there was United fan who has been there, seen it and done it, right back to the Matt Busby years at Old Trafford.

And he’s not happy with what he’s seeing at the club from David Moyes. Fans of other clubs would argue that a few years of failure and mediocrity would do some of United’s younger “glory hunting” fans some good.

But this fan knows what he’s talking about, and he has a point…
