Manchester United may look to ease the pressure on David Moyes by offering the manager a budget of £50million to work with in the January window. With only seven points from six games, there is certainly a degree of concern as to how well United will be able to pick up the pieces and mount a charge on the Premier League title.

The club’s failure in the summer window is unquestionably having an effect on proceedings this season, with the majority of the United team looking either uninterested or incapable of making a difference. The shambles of a summer cannot be repeated this January if United are to turn around their season.
