When Adnan Januzaj broke in to Manchester United’s first-team earlier this season, it took a while for fans and pundits alike to get to grips with the pronunciation and spelling of his surname.

These days it’s just second nature as we sit back in awe of the Belgian’s skills during his maiden season in the Premier League, as he becomes more and more of an important member of David Moyes’ side.

But when TV pundits are speaking about him, it can be a nightmare for a subtitler to get the exact spelling correctly and quickly.

This BBC subtitler appeared to give up before they’d even started…
