Danny Welbeck has changed his mind about a possible move away from Manchester United this summer, according to reports from The Sun.

The England international was rumoured to be eyeing the Old Trafford exit door amid concerns about his future and playing time.

However, he is now having second thoughts following David Moyes’ sacking.

Welbeck is understood to have had grown frustrated by his lack of opportunities under the Scot, but with him now out of the picture and a fresh manager set to arrive he is keen to have another go.

Louis van Gaal is expected to take to the dugout next season, and the 23-year-old is hopeful that he will be given more chances.

Tottenham and Everton are likely to be disappointed by this news, with both clubs rumoured to have been lining up £15m moves for his signature for the coming transfer window.

Welbeck is believed to be keen to impress at this summer’s World Cup in a bid to convince United that they do not need to spend big for new attacking players ahead of next season.

With Van Persie gone he would be in the starting eleven but as the new manager is a Dutchman mmmm No. To be a first choice striker he has to move on, yet he’s still learning and has so much to offer. United could implode if the ship out players in great numbers, they need to be very careful because if you chop down your apple tree tree you can’t stick it back on!
