Before the Manchester Derby, Manchester United legend and director Sir Bobby Charlton came out to clear the air on David Moyes’ future. Despite not knowing what the scoreline against City would be, his admittance may not be so accepted by the fans.

Sir Bobby Charlton has been on the Manchester United board of directors since 1984, so when he admitted that Moyes will be staying at the club for the next six years, he probably isn’t joking around. He also admitted to backing the former Everton boss fully, so fans should be seeing Moyes for quite some time after all.

This may come as a shock for many because Moyes has been criticised heavily by the fans after a very rocky first season.

With United board giving him full backing, quite some weight can be lifted off his shoulders and the only thing he can do now is begin preparing for next season…
