The agent of Manchester United winger Nani believes it it ‘likely’ the Portuguese star will leave Old Trafford this summer, according to the Express.

Nani only signed a new five year contract with the club in September, but has found first team football hard to come by this season under David Moyes.

Moyes is thought to be planning a major rebuild in the summer, with Nani likely to be one of those shown the exit door, however his agent Andrea Pastorello reckons his wages could prove a stumbling block.

United loaned midfielder Anderson to Fiorentina in the summer, and the Italian club are amongst those being linked with a summer move for Nani.

“Nani is a very important player and at this time the only thing I can say is that he is likely to leave Manchester,” Pastorello told Viola News.

“The problem for Fiorentina and other Italian clubs is the player’s salary. But we will evaluate all bids,” he added.

“Our relationship with United is great. Fiorentina have to speak with Manchester United about Anderson and maybe there will be an opportunity to talk about Nani, too.”

Nani has hit 41 goals in 227 games for the Red Devils since signing in the summer of 2007.
