Manchester United will have to battle Italian giants Juventus for the signature of Feyenoord midfielder Tonny Vilhena, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Dutch Under-21 midfielder has been watched by scouts from both clubs, with the Turin club ready to make a £5million offer in the summer.

Vilhena is regarded as one of the most exciting young talents in Holland, having been a part of the Under-17 side that bagged back-to-back European championships in 2011 and 2012.

The youngster scored the winning penalty in the shootout against Germany in 2012, and has gone on to impress for Feyenoord since.

The left footed midfielder has a big future ahead of him, with one of his career highlights coming with a game changing appearance as a sub against FC Twente in March 2012.

He has gone on to become a first team regular since then, and Feyenoord know they will struggle to keep a hold of him this summer.

David Moyes is desperate to strengthen his Manchester United midfield, and although Vilhena would not be considered a first team regular, the Scot is keen to add top young talent for the future.
