Valencia have offered Manchester United the chance to snap up defender Adil Rami for £10m this summer, according to reports from the Daily Mail.

The French ace is currently on loan at AC Milan after falling out of favour at the Mestalla, and was expected to make the move a permanent one at the end of the season.

Yet a deal is unlikely to be reached between the two sides, with the Serie A outfit reluctant to meet Valencia’s valuation.

United were one of a number of clubs to be linked with Rami in January, and now Los Che are ready to do business with the Premier League champions.

The Spaniards are hopeful that David Moyes’ need for a centre-back may be enough to tempt him into pushing a deal.

Nemanja Vidic is set to leave Old Trafford to join Inter Milan in a few months’ time, while Rio Ferdinand may also see his long United career brought to a close in a summer of changes at the club.

Rami could well be an appealing option, with the 2011 Ligue 1 winner an experienced and dependable player.
