Nani has revealed that he will “evaluate” his options in the coming weeks amid talk that he could be leaving Manchester United.

The flying winger was a part of Portugal’s recently eliminated squad at the World Cup, starting all three of his nation’s games in Brazil.

After seven seasons at Old Trafford the 27-year-old looks unlikely to have much a future under new coach Louis van Gaal, who is thought to be looking to draft in his own players to improve the Red Devils’ attack after a woeful 2013/14 under David Moyes.

Nani made seven starts for United last term after penning a new contract last year, but he has revealed that he will be considering his future now the World Cup is over:

“I’m a United player but there has been some interest on my behalf.” He is quoted by The Metro.

“I will evaluate it and decide what is the most advantageous for me.”

Nani also refused to rule out a return to his homeland, where he starred for Sporting Lisbon before joining United:

“A return to Portugal? Right now I don’t know.”

The skilful wide-man cost United £17m in 2007, but has been relatively unsuccessful at Old Trafford.
