Manchester United are ready to let Javier Hernandez leave the club at the end of the season, according to reports from the Daily Star.

The Mexican international has been a peripheral figure at Old Trafford this term, with David Moyes having limited him to just four Premier League starts.

Chicharito himself has spoken out regarding his frustrations at a lack of playing time, and is believed to be ready to move on in a bid to get his career back on track.

Now it seems that United are willing to grant him his wish with a summer exit.

Moyes is thought to see the 25-year-old as surplus to requirements, and is rumoured to be tempted to cut him loose to fund his own plans for the coming transfer window.

Hernandez is said to be a target for Inter Milan, with the newly Indonesian-backed Serie A giants keen to make him their second Red Devils recruit – following news that Nemanja Vidic will move to the San Siro in under six months’ time.

Valencia have also been linked with the penalty box predator, as have Tottenham and Arsenal.

Hernandez made a major impact at United following his 2011 arrival from Chivas Guadalajara, but has struggled for playing time over the course of the past year.
