Manchester United supporters have suffered a torrid season at Old Trafford. The culmination of their frustration was symbolized by the Moyes to Men group’s banner which flew over Old Trafford demanding David Moyes to be sacked before the Aston Villa home match.

Now the former Everton manager has left the club, some fans from Malta were in a much more forgiving mood. They replicated the same gesture that caused so much controversy to send a farewell message to Moyes.

There will be a section of supporters who will feel sorry for David Moyes despite him never quite being the right fit. The former Red Devils boss will most likely appreciate the message and the £3.5 million compensation he received when the club dispensed of his services.
