Manchester United midfielder Adnan Januzaj has not made a decision on his international future despite being asked to play for Kosovo next month, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Januzaj is eligible to play for a number of nations including England, Croatia and Belgium but his father Abedin is hopeful that he will play for Kosovo eventually.

The Kosovan FA have not yet been made an official member of FIFA however they are expected to be in the near future with a friendly planned against Haiti next month.

The minnows want Januzaj to be their star man, and the Belgian-born 21 year olds father is of agreement but not just yet.

“I was born there and I would like my son to play for the national team of my country but the matter is delicate because the Kosovo FA is not yet a member of FIFA,” Abedin Januzaj told Kosovan TV station Kohavision.

“Maybe one day Adnan will play for Kosovo but for now, this will not happen. We have a lot of time to think about everything.”
