A lot has been said of Manchester United‘s start to life without trophy hauler Sir Alex Ferguson as manager, with many fans believing David Moyes is not the man to replicate Fergie’s success for years to come.

Others, however, believe it is the club’s inability to secure the signing of Wesley Sneijder last summer that has been the difference between challenging for the Premier League title and settling for mid-table mediocrity.

Six or seven months later and Sneijder is playing for Galatasaray and personally trolling Bursaspor in the Turkish Premier League, while David Moyes is overseeing United’s first league loss to Stoke City since 1984.
