Thu, 10 Jan 2013 11:22:32 +0000 http://www.footballfancast.com/?p=198936#comment-281217 john… you my friend are clearly clueless. 1st if you really think you know better than sir alex then you are stupid. 2nd he is a very similar player to vidic so do you not like how vidic plays either? he is also probably one of the most adventurous passers in our back line, he often tries a deep pass! many errors? i can remember a couple… but many? also he was 24 and a cb for united! he is still young as far as starting cb’s go it is a position where experience is key. as he get older he will get better and better. how you think he is bad is beyond me and clearly beyond sir alex.

For millions like me, Evans is perhaps the worst player in Utd’s recent history. He’s slow, lacks basic skills, has no positional sense and averse to even a 5-yard forward pass. And then there are many, many catastrophic errors costing dearly. Last season, IMO, he single-handedly caused Utd to lose the title. God help Utd if SAF doesn’t see the obvious.
