The Frenchman arrived from Sunderland for £2million in 2003 as a raw talent who Ferguson had high expectations for.

His time at Old Trafford however was a disappointment. He didn’t have many chances with the first team, but failed to make the most of those that he did. After a failed loan move to West Ham he went back to France and developed himself into a decent player, still never really hitting the heights that were once expected of him though.
