David Moyes’ ten month tenure as manager of Manchester United was brought to an abrupt end on Tuesday, and pundits far and wide have been analysing where it all went wrong for the former Everton man.

The holding Premier League champions sit 7th in the league, in what has been their worst domestic campaign for 24 years, much to the delight of their title rivals.

Over the course of the season, there have been a tonne of jokes, memes and cartoons made in honour of Moyes’ failures. And following his sacking on Tuesday, things were no different, with the twittersphere bustling with anti-moyes jests.
