Frenchman remains committed amid Arsenal and United’s transfer interest
Yohan Cabaye has dismissed claims that he is unhappy at Newcastle United, amid transfer interest from both Arsenal and Manchester United this summer.
The French international was in sensational form last season and played a huge part in the Magpies success that saw the club return to the upper echelons of the Premier League with their top five finish.
Cabaye is determined to rediscover his form this season, after what has been a slow start, but says it was down to fatigue after his summer exploits in the Euros rather than him being distracted by the transfer talk in the summer:
“I’m very happy here, I’ve never thought any different, and I’m very happy to play for Newcastle. It has been difficult for me so far this season, I don’t want to make excuses, but I’m getting back to full fitness.” (Daily Mail)
