Manchester United are keen to send Wilfried Zaha to Newcastle on loan for the reminder of the season, according to reports from the Daily Mail.

The England international only completed his long-awaited move to old Trafford from Crystal Palace over the summer, but has failed to make an impact at the club under David Moyes.

While he is being touted as a future star, the Scot is thought to be unconvinced by his current level of ability and believes that a temporary transfer out of the spotlight will help the youngster.

A move back to Palace has been mooted and Zaha is rumoured to be keen to return to Selhurst Park.

However, United are against the idea of their 21-year-old ace playing under Tony Pulis in a relegation dogfight, and would rather see him in the guidance of Alan Pardew – whose side are outsiders for European qualification.

The Magpies have been linked with Zaha for some time, which could make a deal a genuine possibility.

After enduring a woeful time during the last transfer window, the ‘Toon’ are desperate to land a few top players to boost their league form, and see the winger as an ideal addition.

West Brom are also interested, while Swansea have been mentioned in as potential suitors.

How can you call Zaha a flop? Poor journalism. Do yourself a favour and stop writing.
