Newcastle manager Alan Pardew

Alan Pardew believes that once his Newcastle United side are at full fitness they will be brilliant to watch.

The Geordie manager had a busy month in the January transfer window bringing in new additions to strengthen up the squad. He believes that the new talent mixed in with the return of his injured players Yohan Cabaye and Hatem Ben Arfa will provide Newcastle with a “mouthwatering” line-up.

“It does excite me. You’d like to think with Gouffran on one side and Ben Arfa coming back on the other side and Moussa Sissoko, blimey that’s mouthwatering for us,” he told The Mirror.

“Yohan Cabaye coming back has been the bigger bonus than perhaps the boys we brought in.”

Despite losing to Tottenham at the weekend after Gareth Bale’s winning goal, Pardew insists that his Newcastle side will improve with players like Sissoko and Gouffran playing alongside Cabaye and Ben Arfa. Newcastle are also boosted by the additions of Haidara, Yanga-Mbiwa and Debuchy which will help with the injury problems Newcastle have suffered.
