The League Cup represents a great opportunity for young starlets attempting to make their mark at their respective Premier League clubs. The likes of Andros Townsend, Ryan Tunnicliffe and Ross Barkley have all benefitted from the completion and started the ball rolling on their footballing career.

This year’s Capital One Cup has proved no different with an array of youngsters taking their first steps in the big bad world of professional football.

In this latest list we take a look at the 10 untested players that are set to be taking their bow in next year’s tournament.

    Tottenham have got some great kids coming through at White Hart Lane and I reckon Shaquille will be one making it through.

    No doubt Wenger will reel out some more in the new year. Not that they will ever make it in the Premier League.

    I think Liverpool will need to use the competition to roll out the future at Anfield. Wenger has done it for years at Arsenal and Rodgers should do the same at Liverpool.
