Very good article! Your aim is obviously to try, to get Mike to spend his money! It's none confrontational. You give good strong evidence to support your views. And we all know what a difference a few players would make! I agree, we can't be dismissive of Alan's good work last season, or Ba's eye on adventures new. We have a fantastic set-up that needs to be fully utilised! And it's all very well having a financial plan that makes us self-sufficient: but it's got to work! At the moment the wheels have come off. Come on Mike sort it out!

Having been impressed by boarder last season I am totally unimpressed this one . It's ok blaming injuries but that isn't the problem from the first day of Pre season we have been a shambles from top to bottom from the disastrous arrangements for ore season friendlies to poor transfer recruiting and failure to improve a then decent starting eleven . Chopping and changing formation all season and absolutely no pattern or fluency to our play . Don't be fooled into thinking when we had Ben Arfa, cabaye etc fit that we were playing well . We wernt the alarm bells were ringing from the start of season . It's now 3 years in a row we have left the fa cup early rounds with the same excuses ( injuries) . I can think of no excuse why a team of professional football players who train and work together all week can come up with such a display at Brighton . A team of players trying to impress it certainly didn't look like it . A team that looked like it had any idea how it was to achieve anything during the game it certainly didn't . A team lead by what I can say is most uninspiring captain your likely to see . A team with seemingly no tactical knowledge of its opponents strengths and weaknesses , in essence I hadn't a clue what game or what we were actually trying to achieve . Yes the players have to answer as they should have a clue his to pass receive and move into space along with pressure and mark an oponent . However I put the main blame on a manager who picked this team , set tactics and allowed the second half to get even worse . Substitutes have been questionable all season and this was no different . If the management did have a plan the team certainly didn't know it .
