Norwich midfielder Robert Snodgrass believes that the club’s recent upturn in fortunes is no surprise and is the result of a good attitude within the squad.

The Canaries began the Premier League season poorly, suffering heavy defeats to the likes of Liverpool and Fulham.

However, they have hit some good form recently in which they have taken maximum points against the both Arsenal and Tottenham to move up to 15th place.

Snodgrass is one of the newer arrivals at Carrow Road, having signed from Leeds during the summer, but believes that the improvement in performances is no surprise thanks to work undertaken by the squad:

“There is a great work ethic and a great belief around the place.” He told the Norwich Evening News.

“There is no big time Charlies or players that get carried away with themselves.

“This club is built on the success from League One and the Championship and when we played against them they were always a hard-working team.”

He also believes that their form will continue:

“The boys have got a point to prove. They’re all young, hungry lads and we have to keep building on it.”

Norwich face a tough trip to Old Trafford on Saturday to take on Manchester United.
