Harry Redknapp keen on midfield duo
The Super Hoops boss is reportedly keen to bring in a number of players this month in a bid to steep his side clear of relegation from the Premier League.
After securing a striker in the shape of Loic Remy last week, he is now looking to strengthen his midfield options, and is keen to reunite with Kranjcar, who he managed at Portsmouth and Tottenham.
The Croatian only left Spurs to sign for Dynamo Kiev over the summer, but Redknapp is confident that he can lure the playmaker back to England to aid his new club’s fight against the drop.
With news that Rennes star Yann M’Vila, who was believed to be close to moving to Loftus Road, is a target for Russian giants Rubin Kazan, ‘Arry has highlighted Sissoko as an alternative.
The French international has been linked to a number of Premier League clubs in recent times, with the likes of Newcastle and Aston Villa thought to be highly interested.
The 22-year-old’s current contract expires at the end of the season, a situation that his employers Toulouse have reacted to by reducing his price tag.
It is thought that he will be available for a fee in the region of £3-5m, making him a viable option for QPR.
