The Reading offer includes add-ons which Liverpool wont receive anything of, the Liverpool offer probably didn’t – so yes Blackpool wouldn’t receive as much as they would, initially, from Liverpool but over time they would.

Surely Liverpool would still receive 35% of the transfer fee, so by offering £4.75 million they would only be paying just shy of £3.1 million. No?

Not very well researched, this one. If you subtract the 35% due to LFC from the offer of £6.6M, Blackpool would only receive £4290000, half a million shy of Liverpool’s current offer. I wonder why they rejected it assuming the story is actually true.
