It could be argued that the Premier League’s over achievers this season have been Southampton.

We’ve seen the Saints become mainstays in the top half of the table and, at one point, some were discussing the possibility of them challenging for a top four spot.

But a disappointing run of results in December means all they can really hope for is a Europa League spot now, although that would still be classed as a huge success for the St. Mary’s outfit.

But what has been the secret to their success this season? Manager Mouricio Pochettino has impressed since replacing Nigel Adkins and has got the likes of Luke Shaw, Jay Rodriguez and Adam Lallana playing some superb football.

And by the looks of it, his players are able to learn a thing or two from the Argentine master…
