Stoke midfielder Steven N’Zonzi says that his side have very little empathy with Arsenal’s displeasure at their style of football.

The Potters and the Gunners have a relatively fierce rivalry, with the London club annoyed by the Britannia Stadium side’s physically imposing approach.

They once again clashed over the weekend, with Mark Hughes’ men securing a shock 1-0 win that may have a major impact on Arsenal’s title hopes.

After the game Arsene Wenger was once again critical of Stoke’s ‘in your face’ approach, which prevented them from deploying their usual slick brand of passing football.

But N’Zonzi – who has been a key man for his club – has no sympathy for Emirates Stadium outfit, and insists that his team know just how to play against them to get the best possible results:

“We know that Arsenal play good football but when you start kicking them a little bit, it gets harder for them,” he is quoted by The Metro.

“They don’t like it, we know that. We don’t care. We’ll keep on doing it, being strong and trying to be as good as we can be on the ball.

“It’s not a surprise they have been moaning because they have plenty of technical players.”

Much of the clubs’ rivalry goes back to a horror challenge from Ryan Shawcross which left Aaron Ramsey with a badly broken leg.

If history has anything to go by, the current Arsenal side has no leaders apart from Flamini who did not play Stoke.
