Sunday People.

The Reds ace has struggled to hold down a first-team berth at Anfield this term after enjoying a fine breakthrough season last year.

The 18-year-old was a key man for the Merseyside giants at the start of the last campaign, due, in part, to a lack of options for Brendan Rodgers.

The teenager certainly justified the hype surrounding his abilities with a succession of excellent outings.

However, with top players now in abundance at Liverpool he has been used sparingly so far this term.

Rodgers still sees Sterling as a key man for the future, and is said to be ready to let him leave on loan to gain vital experience.

The Northern Irishman views his former club as the ideal place for his starlet to develop, and could sanction a short-term switch in the New Year.

Sterling himself is thought to be keen, with playing time likely to be more frequent at the Liberty Stadium in the run up to the World Cup.

The former QPR youth player will also be free to join in with the Swans Europa League campaign thanks to Liverpool’s lack of continental competition.

Would a loan move to Swansea be good for Raheem Sterling?
