Thomas Ince appears set to finally make a move to the Premier League, after Blackpool announced the England Under-21 winger has been granted permission to hold talks over a loan move, according to talkSPORT.

Ince – who turns 22 on Thursday – is set to follow his father and former England midfielder Paul Ince out of the club, after he was sacked as Blackpool manager recently.

Ince junior has been linked with a host of clubs, including the likes of Swansea and Monaco.

His move to the Premier League has been long anticipated, and it now looks set to be completed before Friday’s deadline.

Blackpool said in a statement on their official website: “Blackpool Football Club can confirm that, following discussions with Thomas Ince and his representative, permission has been given for Thomas to discuss a loan move to a Premier League club.

“Thomas has expressed his ambition to play in the Premier League for the remainder of the season, a decision that the club fully understands and supports.”

Ince is Blackpool’s leading goal scorer this season, with seven strikes in the Championship.

The former Liverpool prospect has also won 12 caps for the England Under-21 side.
