Was waiting for someone to say something about Cisse as I am aware he changed positions and I take that point from you, I should have left that example out. I can’t see what’s wrong with the rest of the article/examples though. Your point is a good 1 though, thanks.

It’s just a poorly written article. You mention Cisse and suggest that he wasn’t quite as good as we all thought. What you don’t say, maybe because you don’t know, is that the main reason he started to score less goals was that his position changed from playing as the main striker infront of Ba to playing Ba in front of him. i.e. Ba and Cisse switched positions. Not because Cisse suddenly became a worse player. Please give us some insight and reasoning if you wish to write a worthy article, otherwise we’ll continue to have the same old tripe churned out day after day after day….

Hi, I respect the calmer approach in the response you gave. In this article I am saying that he isn’t too good for you though, that’s the thing. I am also saying I am not sure whether he is good enough for a top team after a good half a season. I accept the criticism but don’t understand some of it here. He has been tipped for moves to other clubs, I am simply stating I am not sure if he would produce the same form if that was to happen in the future. The title of the article is posing the question which I then explore in the article. I get the impression people aren’t actually reading it properly. If the offence caused is by the fact I have stated there are bigger teams around than Swansea then I can only apologise, but that is the harsh truth of it. Fair enough if fans don’t like reading it about their own club, but it isn’t a reason to dismiss an article.

To be a respected journalist you have to be unbiased and be able to accept criticism. People keep banging on about us being a small club & players being too god for us is just condesending & boring now tbh but we have to accept it and move on

They talk about individual Players, outstanding Managers. BS! The Swansea machine has been a decade in the building. That building is in the style of play and the mindsets of all those at Swansea City. It is a ‘TEAM’ from the Boardroom to the field and out to the Terraces, a ‘TEAM’. Something the ‘Business first’ minded owners of the so-called major Clubs (with major debts) fail to understand. You can’t buy heart and that’s something the Swans and all those connected to the Club have.

Completely agree! Players have been signed for huge sums of money for playing a few games well. To get a player scoring so many goals in the Premier League, you’d be stupid not to pay attention. Teams who need that goal scoring regular up front like Man City at the moment would be stupid not to look at a potential bid….. Silly Article!

Liverpool are the one that really piss me off, had a great chuckle watching the faces of Rodgers, Pascoe, and Judas Joe at the end of their match with Oldham. Liverpool fans, still living in the 70s and 80s, but only a small step away from becoming tomorrow’s Nottingham Forest.

Are you lot feeling ok? Can’t understand why you have taken such offence. All I am saying is it’s a bit soon to be saying he is too good for Swansea. Can’t judge a player off half a season. What makes you so certain he would succeed at a bigger club may I ask? Also I never said anything about Swansea having less success than the top clubs. He would be under more pressure at a top 4 team though whether you like it or not. “samandjanet” did you see Papiss Cisse’s goal against Chelsea last season or some of Sigurdssons strikes? What’s happened to them this season? Never even dismissed Michu’s ability, think you are all getting a little over sensitive.

Agree with the replies. The question needs to be asked is did the writer see the goals against Arsenal for example. They were class goals. Running half the length of the pitch and threading the ball through a very small gap and bending it round the keeper to get to it. How can teams work that out? Really don’t get the relavance of the article.
When will these reporters ever say something either original or relevant or stop saying ” no disrepect to this one or that one ” which is in itself condescending, patronising and disrespectful. Any club that can take on the billionaire clubs on a comparative shoestring are the ones to admired. The honest way would be to say no disrespect to Chelsea,etc but they have had billions thrown at them and still can’t get it right.
