As news filters through that AC Milan have shipped their once-celebrated forwards Pato and Robinho back to their native Brazil, a move for Mario Balotelli is surely next on the agenda.
The feisty Italian has failed to produce the goods this season after an impressive European Championships, with manager Roberto Mancini seemingly growing tired of his childish antics.
“The time of cheap talk is over. Balotelli is 22 years old and now it’s time to be professional. I ask from him seriousness and commitment in training, a more stable private life and correct behaviour on the pitch,” said the City boss ominously.
