Hugo Lloris’ summer transfer for around £15million from Lyon has arguably slipped under the radar, as he’s a proven top class goalkeeper and has continued to produce some excellent displays since arriving at White Hart Lane.
Spurs fans were originally upset with Andre Villas-Boas for ousting Brad Friedel as the Spurs first choice goalie, but the decision has been justified by the French international’s impressive feat of keeping seven clean sheets in 17 Premier League appearances.
He’s outperformed Brad Friedel and outshone Wojciech Szczesny, who’s having a rather below-par season, earning Lloris the Combined XI No.1 jersey.
