The Welshman has come on leaps and bounds over the past couple of seasons and, despite his growing reputation as a diver, there is no denying the match winning influence he has on Andre Villas-Boas’ side.
He has nine Premier League goals so far this season and, without those, Spurs would be chasing a top four spot rather than currently occupying fourth.
His threat on the left adds so much to Spurs’ attacking dimension and, once again, he will be an important factor in Spurs’ bid for a Champions League spot.
