The Fulham man is inherently inconsistent and outrageously frustrating to watch. There’s always a glimmer of something special there, while his technique and ability from set pieces are impressive, but he just lacks the temperament to sustain any kind of threat over the course of a full ninety-minute game. There’s a reason why when all of the top clubs were sniffing around Craven Cottage in the summer at Clint Dempsey and Moussa Dembele that none of them took a punt on the Costa Rica international.
