The worst Liverpool XI of Premier League times…well in my view!

When asked to pick a worst Liverpool team of all time, to be honest, I was tempted to make it easy for myself and just choose a team made up from Graeme Souness era signings – disastrous! To be fair to the legendary former midfielder though, Gerard Houllier and Rafa Benitez signed some real head-scratchers too – and that’s putting it kindly. As with most teams nowadays, it seems easier to choose players from the Premier League era – especially for Liverpool! Oh, and if I had to choose a manager, Souness would be safe – step forward Roy Hodgson.
