Despite not making a single league appearance, Iago Falque did enough to make his loan deal at Spurs permanent last season.
His pedigree cannot be denied, having been a Barcelona graduate and being snapped up by Juventus in 2008. In 2010, the 22-year-old was a key part of the Villarreal B team, scoring 11 goals in 36 appearances.
The Spaniard was sent on-loan to then Championship side Southampton last year, but was unfortunately injured during his first appearance. January is the perfect opportunity to try again and send the Spaniard out to get some experience. Any club looking for some flair and ability in front of goal should look into signing him.
