Football FanCast guest columnist Tim Proctor is fearful of the Tottenham attack and believes they’ll be licking their lips this afternoon.

With it seemingly likely that Hibbo is set to be deployed in the centre back position today, then Harry Redknapp must be licking his lips at the prospect and you can guarantee that it has already made his mind up as to whether to play Peter Crouch this afternoon. I’m extremely fearful about this afternoon, especially given the striking threat that Tottenham posses.

They say it is never a good time to pick up injuries and suspensions; however the last thing we need is one of the most potent strike forces in England against you when we are at our most vulnerable. With Johnny suspended and Sylvain and Joseph out with hamstring injuries, we couldn’t have been in a worse off position and I am certain the likes of Defoe and Crouch will be in buoyant mood and confident that they can deliver goals today.

I don’t want to be harsh on Hibbo and I know he did a decent job against AEK, but the Premier League is a different kettle of fish altogether and strikers are of a different class and I think Moyes would be crazy to deploy him there. I personally would draft Neill into the centre but reading the Echo it appears that Hibbo is getting the gig, despite the fact he is 11 inches shorter than Crouch. I fear it could be a long afternoon for us and I only hope we don’t see a repeat performance of the last time a North London side visited the ‘Old Lady’. With Hibbo in central defence against Crouch, anything is possible.

I wouldn’t be surprised if ‘Arry started Keane and Defoe upfront, even though you highlight the problems that Crouchie could present.

That’s because ‘Arry loves Keane, even though he’s flattered to deceive. He did a fantastic job helping to keep us up last season, and although he scored 4 against Burnley at home, he’s been disappointing all season.

I think it’ll be a tight game, even with all your injuries. 1-1 or a 2-1 away win.
