Tottenham’s new and exciting cast have started the current Premier League campaign in strong form, racking up 13 points from six games as they sit pretty in third place in the table.

But despite a host of attacking talent joining the club in the summer, including £27million man Roberto Soldado, £30million-rated wonderkid Erik Lamela and European hotshots Christian Eriksen and Nacer Chadli, the Lilywhites have averaged just a goal a game, and a third of their goal tally have been sourced from converted penalties.
