Daniel Levy has taken action in an attempt to save Tottenham’s season and make a strong push for European football in the second half of the campaign.

Some will still argue that the Spurs chairman was wrong to sack Andre Villas-Boas at this time, but in part it’s understandable after three terrible performances in the Premier League so far.

But with a new manager, whether it be a short-term option until the summer or not, will come expectation. Levy will also need to be active in the January window to not only strengthen the team but also move on players who have no place at the club.
