Tottenham Hotspur have been performing well in the Premier League this season, but if there’s one department the London club have been lacking in, it’s fire-power up front.

With Jermain Defoe out injured, and Emmanuel Adebayor in dismal form, the lack of forwards on the books at White Hart Lane has started to become a selection nightmare for Andre Villas-Boas. The Portuguese gaffer tried to bring in some new recruits this January, with no success.

There’s little doubt Tottenham will be on the look out in the summer for a frontman to bolster their attack.
