The FIVE ‘ideal transfers’ to boost Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur have been performing well in the Premier League this season, but if there’s one department the London club have been lacking in, it’s fire-power up front.

With Jermain Defoe out injured, and Emmanuel Adebayor in dismal form, the lack of forwards on the books at White Hart Lane has started to become a selection nightmare for Andre Villas-Boas. The Portuguese gaffer tried to bring in some new recruits this January, with no success.

There’s little doubt Tottenham will be on the look out in the summer for a frontman to bolster their attack.

So here’s a shortlist of five suggestions of strikers from around Europe who could certainly contribute at White Hart Lane.
