The best thing I have seen from David Bentley since arriving at White Hart Lane is a Youtube video where he kicks a football from a balcony into a skip on the other side of the road.
The video is hilarious, and shows off some serious technique, but apart from that, the English midfielder has been a complete flop, with a poor attitude to match.
Spurs have been trying to offload the 28-year old for a while now with limited success, perhaps because they can’t recover anywhere near the £17million the London club paid for him in 2008.
The midfielder really needs to go in the next transfer window, if not for some extra transfer kitty then to simply get him off the wage bill. 42 league appearances in five years really isn’t good enough.
