Tottenham are set to snap up Michel Vorm and Ben Davies after agreeing a deal worth around £15m including Gylfi Sigurdsson with Swansea for the pair, according to reports from the Daily Mail.

Spurs have been heavily linked with both Swans stars in recent weeks, with Mauricio Pochettino desperate to get his transfer plans at White Hart Lane underway.

It emerged yesterday that the Lilywhites had beaten bitter rivals Liverpool to Davies’ signature, and now Vorm is set to follow the young left-back to London.

The Holland stopper is likely to challenge Hugo Lloris for the No. 1 berth, while the 21-year-old defender is set to be a first-team player ahead of Danny Rose.

Swansea wanted to keep both men, but eventually relented and agreed to offload the duo due to Sigurdsson being involved.

The Icelandic playmaker starred for the South Wales club during a brief loan spell in 2012, and has been a favourite at the Liberty Stadium ever since.

Crystal Palace also wanted the midfielder, but despite agreeing an £8m fee with Spurs the player’s desire to move back to Swansea decided the saga.
