London Evening Standard.

Spurs were strongly linked with the England U-21 international throughout the summer, but were unable to push through a deal to lure him away from Bloomfield Park.

But, Andre Villas-Boas is ready to make a fresh move for the wide-man once the transfer window re-opens.

A number of Italian sides – including Juventus and Inter Milan – are also monitoring the 21-year-old, and are keen to take advantage of his current contractual situation.

Ince’s deal with the Seasiders expires at the end of the season, allowing foreign teams to swoop for his signature at a discount rate in January.

Due to FIFA rules, a compensation fee of just £335,000 would be enough to free the player from his agreement with Blackpool, who would be powerless to block a deal.

The Championship side are desperate to receive a larger fee for their star man, and could be willing accept a £4m bid from Tottenham.

Ince is believed to be keen to stay in England, which may block a potential Serie A switch

The ex-Liverpool youth player is thought to see his future in the Premier League, but is holding out for an ambitious club after rejecting a move to Cardiff over the summer.

Swansea, Everton and Newcastle are also rumoured to be interested.

Could Tom Ince be a it at Tottenham?
