Queens Park Rangers’ defending in the first half of their match with Tottenham may have been comical at times but Mauricio Pochettino’s side still had to take advantage of it – and they did. Redknapp seems to have put the ‘back three’ experiment on the bench for the time being as he moved to a back four for the second half. However, all the madness of the dodgy defending offered up some moments of brilliance, with Cristian Eriksen’s touch near the corner flag being the pick of the bunch. Lamela may earn the headlines as he seems to finally be coming good but we shouldn’t forget that the Dane has been consistently quality for Spurs since making the move from Ajax last summer.
