Bayern Munich full back Rafinha has declared his intention to stay at the German club for the rest of his contract, according to talkSPORT.

Spurs were set to make a move for the Brazilian in January to increase their defensive options, but that bid now seems unlikely.

The 27-year old is contracted to Bayern until 2014 and is determined to play himself back into the first team at the Allianz Arena after persistent injuries have lost him his place.

“I have a contract until June 2014 and leaving Bayern is not in my plans now,” Rafinha told Brazilian newspaper O Globo.

“This is very clear because I dream of winning major titles with this club.

“I lost two months through injury this season and I now just want to get my place back in the starting line-up and play like last year.”
